A fire broke out in actress Meher Afroz Shaon's mother's house on Thursday morning, June 9, 2022.
Shaon and her children occasionally reside at the house.
Fire Service was able to control the fire, and no one was injured.
Shaon posted photos of the damaged house on her Facebook handle and informed her fans that she used to live in the room where the fire broke out.
She speculated that the AC might have exploded and caused the fire.
"None of us were physically injured, but we are mentally devastated. All our books, furniture and curtains have been destroyed in the fire," Shaon wrote.
"Whenever we visit my mother's house, we live in that room. I can't imagine what would have happened if we were there this morning as well."
