Jada Pinkett Smith has recently responded to the Will Smith's infamous Oscars slap and expressed hope that the duo would reconcile.
"My deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile. With the state of the world today, we need 'em both, and we all actually need one another more than ever," Pinkett Smith said.
"Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years — and that's keep figuring out this thing called life together. Thank you for listening," she added.
She also addressed her hair loss condition, known as alopecia, on Wednesday's Red Table Talk episode.
"I think the part that makes it most difficult for me is that it comes and goes," Jada explained. "It's stressful. A patch grows then another patch comes out. That gives me a lot of anxiety — 'Oh, well what's my hair going to look like today.'"
Will Smith, who won the Best Actor award for "King Richard," made headlines for slapping comedian Chris Rock who made a joke about Jada's hair loss condition.
Smith later issued a public apology and was subsequently banned by the Academy for 10 years.
"I’m OK, if anybody was wondering," Rock joked during a recent stand-up event. "I got most of my hearing back."
