The latest season of Dhaka Sessions will feature Bangladeshi heavy metal band Cryptic Fate on Sunday, January 30, at 7:00pm.

Produced by Chotu Khan, Dhaka Sessions features artists, musicians, writers, and creative arts personalities of Bangladeshi origin.
The first season was launched on November 14, 2020, with popular band, Nemesis. The sessions have so far featured artists like Ferdous Ahmed, Arnob, Labik Kamal Gaurob, Arbovirus, Leemonade, Tashfee, Armeen Musa, Robert Russell Trio, Imran Ahmed Trio, Asaduzzaman Noor, Bangla Five, and so on.
According to a press release, this is the first time Cryptic Fate will deliver an acoustic performance in public. Arafat Kazi, their old band mate from Watson Brothers will also join in on the drums and perform "Rong."
One of the pioneers of Bangla metal music, Cryptic Fate was launched in 1993 and features a line-up of Shakib Chowdhury, K Sarfaraz Latifullah, Farhan Samad and Raef al Hasan Rafa.
The band has released four albums so far, including Ends Are Forever (1995), Shreshtho (2002), Danob (2006), Noy Mash (2013).
