Wow Play TV is a drama video creator, broadcasting, and media company of the country.
"Wow Play TV produces exceptional funny, motivational, dramatic videos, drama series from their Facebook page, which is also visible on Facebook Watch," read a press release.
In July, the platform released the special Eid drama "Crisis" -- written and directed by Idris Haider and Eshan Haider.
It debuted on July 22 at Red Films Entertainment. Shortly afterwards, the drama was released on Wow Play TV Facebook page. Audiences were in praise of its cast, storytelling and direction.
One of the clips from the episodes went viral involving a rickshaw puller's daughter being scorned in a beef market.
The cast featured Zara Zoya Harun Rashid, Reshmi, Sayla Sathy, Yeasin Adnan, Sakib Wahed, and others. The theme song "Kothin Shomoy" was sung by Bablu Kabir, and composed by Hasan Fz.
Idris Haider, the director of the drama said, "Due to the advent of OTT platforms, it is now possible for us to express our thoughts in a way that we could not before."
