The latest Spider-Man trailer is now the most-viewed trailer of all time, having beaten the previous records held by "Avengers: End Game."
Marvel fans, who have been pressurizing the studio to release the trailer, did not take long to shower their love and share their excitement online. Not only has the trailer become the most viewed trailer in a day, but it has also broken a few social media engagement records.
2.91 million mentions of the "Spider-Man: No Way Home" trailer were recorded in the first 24 hours of its release, alongside 1.56 million mentions coming from overseas. Over all, the first trailer for the latest Marvel film received 4.5 million social media mentions in just a day.
"Avengers: Endgame' set a new record two years ago when its trailer received 289 million views in a day. The latest Spider-Man trailer easily surpassed that mark by receiving 355.5 million trailer views in 24 hours.
"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man," reads the official synopsis.
