In a bid to get into more serious acting, stand-up comic Kevin Hart is starring as a single dad in Netflix drama “Fatherhood,” based on Matt Logelin‘s 2011 memoir, “Two Kisses For Maddy: A Memoir Of Loss and Love.”
The source material follows the author’s efforts to raise his daughter on his own after his wife and high school sweetheart passes away.

The film marks comedian Kevin Hart's latest foray into dramatic roles.
Directed by Paul Weitz, the film will premiere on the streaming platform on June 18.
The cast also includes Alfre Woodard, Melody Hurd, Anthony Carrigan, Lil Rel Howery, Paul Reiser, DeWanda Wise, Deborah Ayorinde, and Teneisha Collins.
