Oscar winning director, Quentin Tarantino has reportedly got engaged to his 33 year old Israeli girlfriend Daniela Pick, whom the filmmaker reportedly met when he was in Israel to promote Inglorious Bastards, in 2009.
The official New Beverly Cinema, owned by the 54 year old auteur, broke the news on Twitter, on July 2. The tweet had the link to a report by the Times of Israel.
If everything goes as planned, this will be Tarantino’s first marriage and the couple is reportedly very happy with the new development in their relationship.
Daniela, who is the daughter of veteran Israeli musician Svika Pick, has confirmed the news to an Israeli news and general content website, Ynetnews. Daniela and Tarantino got engaged on Friday night in Los Angeles, the site confirmed.
“It’s true. We’re very happy and excited,” Daniela told Ynetnews of the engagement rumours.
“Yes, there’s joy in our family. They got engaged yesterday (Friday), we wished them Mazal Tov,” said Daniela’s mother Svika, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Tarantino is most known for his genius works in Hollywood classics such as Pulp Fiction, the Kill Bill movie franchise starring Uma Thurman, Django Unchained among others. For his nonlinear way of storytelling, satirical subject matter and anaesthetisation of violence, he is widely considered one of the greatest filmmakers of his generation and his fiance, Daniela Pick is a popular Israeli musician.
