Update : 07 Jun 2017, 09:27 PM
Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan recently launched e-cycles under Being Human, and soon became the victim of Twitter trolls after he advocated safe driving at the launch event. In the event, the actor, who had a much talked hit-and-run case to his credit, talked about the consequences of reckless speeding and suggested youngsters to avoid racing on main roads. “I think cycles are okay but motorcycles are really dangerous for them (youngsters) and for other people around as well. We shoot in Film City so I see on the highway people racing recklessly,” Salman said. Ironically, Salman was accused in such a hit-and-run case, which resulted in the death of a man sleeping on the pavement, leaving four others injured. Although he has been acquitted of all charges by the Bombay High Court, people on Twitter and other social media outlets, didn’t forget to make fun of him. Referring to the 2002 case, Twitteratti cracked many jokes talking about the incident. On the work front, Salman is preparing for the release of Kabir Khan’s Tubelight, this Eid. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan famed actor will also be seen opposite Katrina Kaif in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai, which is slated to hit theatres in December.
