One of the top former contestants of Bangladeshi Idol, Amid Hossain Chowdhury was surrounded by great musicians since childhood as his father is the notable Tagore singer Fahim Hossain Chowdhury. As a result, Amid’s career path to singing has ultimately taken no one by surprise.
Amid, who bagged the winning title of Gaan Bangla’s Airtel Spotlight, is going to release six new songs on this Eid-ul-Azha.
The upcoming songs include Shopnora Dana Mele, Tor Karone, Shokhi Go, Ma, Nil Ronga Pori and Icche Ghuri. All songs, with the exception of Nil Ronga Pori have been composed by Shaker Raza.
Menon Khan composed Neel Ronga Pori, confirmed Amid.
The songs will be featured in upcoming Eid dramas - five of them being directed by Mabrur Rashid Bannah.
The young musician has previously worked for Radio Foorti as their Brand and Partnership Head and hosted multiple shows at Radio Foorti as an RJ.
After his successful stint on Bangladeshi Idol, Amid was actively part of a project by Ayub Bachchu titled Acoustica Live. He performed at various gigs (TV, Radio, Live events) with the Acoustica Live team.
