Canadian singer Bryan Adams has been facing the music for a social media comment that implicates Chinese people. The singer was due to perform in London this week, before lockdown measures halted the concerts.
"Thanks to some bat eating, wet market animal selling, virus making greedy [expletives], the whole world is now on hold," Adams wrote on Instagram.
He deleted the post from Twitter, but it remains in its original form on Instagram.

Many interpreted the star's comments as anti-Asian or anti-Chinese, although he was praised by some animal rights groups.
