The release of director Masud Hasan Ujjal's long awaited film, Unoponchash Batash, has been delayed because of detection of coronavirus in Bangladesh. The film was scheduled to be released on March 13.
Ujjal said he can’t release the film in theatres when such public gatherings can help spread the virus. The director said it was the best option under the circumstances, citing that even the release of the new James Bond film, No Time To Die, has been postponed for the virus.
Saying he is in “a confused situation now,” Ujjal did not specify a new release date for his film.
This Red October production is 2 hour 45 minute long and stars Sharlin Farzana and Imtiaz Barshan in the leading roles.
Besides directing, Ujjal also wrote the story, dialogues, song lyrics and screenplay for the film. He also did the art direction, photography, music direction, and even the poster design.
