Hollywood star and martial artist Jean-Claude Van Damme has greeted Bangladesh with a happy new year.
In a video posted by Bangladeshi adventurer Wasfia Nazreen on her official Facebook page on Thursday, Jean-Claude van Damme along with Wasfia wished happy new year and "big kiss" to Bangladesh.
The video gained over 2.6k views within the first hour of being uploaded.
Van Damme, a Belgian-born martial arts prodigy who became a champion in both karate and kickboxing, went on to become an international movie star in the 1980s and 1990s with starring roles in fight-focused action hits like Bloodsport, Kickboxer, Hard Target, and Timecop.
Wasfia made history in 2015 by becoming the first Bangladeshi to climb all seven highest peaks in seven continents, also known as the “Seven Summits."
