Paul McCartney brought his fans great joy when he performed with his former Beatles band mate Ringo Starr at Los Angeles' Dodger Stadium on July 13. The concert was a part of the legend’s Freshen Up world tour.
“We’ve got a surprise for us, a surprise for you, a surprise for everyone: Ladies and gentlemen, the one and only, Ringo Starr,” McCartney announced to the sold-out crowd.
To make the three-hour show extra special, the 77-year-old legend performed the band's, Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise) and Helter Skelter with Ringo.
But that wasn't the only surprise of the night. His 38-song set also included a surprise appearance by Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh, who came out midway through the Abbey Road classic, The End.
“The best part is, we didn’t have a clue what we were doing,” McCartney joked after Walsh's appearance.
