Popular Bangladeshi rock band Indalo has released the official music video of its track “Hobeki?” from their upcoming album "Uttor Khujchi Dokkhine" on their official YouTube channel Indalomusic.
The action packed, heavy visual effects based video released on Saturday has been well received by Indalo fans and reached 12,000 views in the first 15 hours of its release.
When asked about the new track, Indalo frontman Jon Kabir told the Dhaka Tribune’s Showtime: “We have been waiting for this one for a long time and now you know why the video took this long.”
Since the release of the music video’s teaser back in March, fans have been speculating that Indalo was behind the emergence of the mysterious Dhaka graffiti series called “Shubodh.”
Even after its release on Saturday fans on different social media platforms were still thanking Indalo for the graffiti series because of the resemblance between the music videos lead cast and the scrawny bearded man in the graffiti.
Jon Kabir clarified that the music video has a disclaimer which states: “Hobeki? is an inspired work. The song, songwriters, and everyone involved have no connection with the graffiti or original concept of HOBEKI?, Shubodh, or its conceiver.”
The music video film starring Shaan Rahman was directed by Ejaz Mehedi, and produced by Tawsif Akkas. Runout Films was the production partner of the video in association with IMVISIBLE. The VFX and post production were done by Glitch.
Rakat Zami was the co-producer of the track, penned by Zubair Hasan of Indalo.
The song was recorded and mixed by Rakat Zami and Poneer MK Khan Majlish at Acoustic Artz Studio.
