Bangladeshi singer and songwriter, Farzana Tarana, 28, recently qualified for the blind audition of The Voice of Finland, reports prominent Finnish newspaper, Ilta-Sanomat.
In a recent video interview with Ilta-Sanomat she said she is currently studying Music Production and Sound Design at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Finland, and fell in love with the country after she went there.
She took part in The Voice of Finland 2019, and impressed the judges with her performance of Bruno Mars’ “Grenade.”
The report also said she faced a slight injury just before going on stage for her blind audition. Farzana hit her head backstage, bruised her eyebrows, and broke her glasses. However, she did not let the situation stop her.
The Voice of Finland's final blind audition episode, featuring Farzana Tarana, will be aired on Friday 28 on Finnish television network, Nelonen, and a local online streaming platform, Ruutu.
