Scarlett Johansson debuts Ivanka Trump’s impression on SNL

Scarlett Johansson delivered a diabolical impersonation of America’s First Daughter, Ivanka Trump this week, on Saturday Night Live. After Alec Baldwin reprised his Trump impression to kick off the show, Johansson, a fifth-time SNL host, appeared in a long blonde wig and a smokey eye to play Ivanka in a faux commercial, for her clothing line’s new fragrance titled “Complicit.” In the commercial, as Johansson-as-Ivanka posed in front of the camera, a sultry voice-over said, “And a woman like her deserves a fragrance of her own. A scent made just for her. Because she’s beautiful. She’s powerful. She’s...Complicit.” “She’s a woman who knows what she wants, and what she’s doing,” the voice-over added. It then aims at Ivanka’s feminist credentials, and talks about how the President’s slew of controversies could potentially impact his daughter’s career. “A feminist. A champion. An advocate for women. Like...how?” it asks. “She’s loyal. Devoted. Probably should have bounced after that whole Access Hollywood bus thing,” it said, as a reference to the President’s leaked tape from 2005 which surfaced last year, in which he could be heard bragging about groping and making unwanted advances on women. The fake advert then concludes with the slogan - “The fragrance for the woman who could stop all this, but won’t.”
