Rapper Ranveer

This is the second film whereby Ranveer has decided to tie his fate with a new producer. When Ranveer signed up for Vikramaditya Motwane’s critically acclaimed love story Lootera under the banner of Phantom Films, he was the first star to become a leading man for this production house. With his decision to act in Gully Boy for Tiger Baby Productions, he has once again shown support for a debutant producer. Zoya’s reputation as a successful filmmaker also adds tremendous value to this project. As if Ranveer Singh playing a rapper in Gully Boy wasn’t dope enough, Singh might also pen down a rap or two for the film. Ever since the news of Ranveer being roped in to playing a rapper in Gully Boy has hit the web, the actor has been majorly investing himself into a lot of rapping – be it through stage shows, Instagram videos, or random promotional events. In fact, more recently, Ranveer even rapped for a brand with a kickass video titled – “Don’t hold back”.
