Event Garaze organized “Event ‘O Acoustica- Season 1,” an unplugged concert in Sabroso Music café, Dhanmondi. The performing lineup included Yaatri, Crunch, Conclusion, and Skin & Bones.
The program started at 6:40 pm on Saturday with a young band called ‘Skin & Bones.” They performed “Do I Wanna Know” by Arctic Monkeys, “Yellow Brick Road” by Angus and Julia Stone, “Na Ghumder Gaan” by Nemesis & “Heart Shaped Box” by Nirvana. They also sang an original song, “Shorgojatri.”
The next band was “Conclusion.” They performed some original tracks from their recently released album. Another band “Crunch” mesmerized the crowd with their English originals. They also covered “Highway to Hell” by AC/DC, “Alone Again” by Dokken, and some other songs by Mr. Big, GnR and others.
The show finished with Yaatri. They performed pure acoustic versions of their most popular numbers like “Ek Paye Nupur,” “Bondhu Bhabo Ki,” “Ke Dake” and “Ekta Gopon Kotha.” The crowd sang along.
Shovon from “Crunch” said: “It was truly refreshing to see these talented artists jam out in this acoustic session. Loved the ambiance of the entire thing, especially the idea to organize something like this at a cafe setting, gave the entire thing a relaxed, after-a-heavy-work-day chill session vibe.”
Topu from “Yaatri” said: “Thumbs up for Event Garaze, great initiative, had an amazing time performing at their first event Event ‘O Acoustica. Looking forward to their next project.”
“Skin & Bones” thanked the organizers for providing good sound systems, environment and backdrop video for the show.
