Saayoni's character is not based on Taslima Nasreen

Rumours have it that popular Tollywood actress Saayoni Ghosh will be starring as Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen in a Kolkata film. However, film director Nabarun Sen has denied such rumours, saying that even though Sayoni's character will be portraying a physician, the character was not moulded after Taslima Nasreen. Instead, Nabarun has demanded that the film is going to be based on one of his own novels. "Dikhondito" (Divided into two) will star famous actor Saswata Chatterjee as a patient suffering from personality disorder and Saayoni Ghosh as his doctor.
