Elton John is likely to announce he is backing away from music after 50 years.
The 70-year-old star legendary singer will announce his future plans at a press conference simultaneously held in London and New York on Wednesday.
He will also announce his final world tour, reports The Mirror.
Sir Elton has sold more than 300 million records during his career. He is one of the world's most in-demand live performers.
According to the report published in the Mirror, his record sales have been in decline in recent years.
He is expected to reveal plans for a new venture after his Las Vegas residency comes to an end in May after six years.
