Jennifer Lawrence: ‘Once I enter a public place I become incredibly rude’

Update : 29 Nov 2017, 09:13 PM
Hollywood star Jennifer Lawrence said that she is not easy going towards her fans when in public. During a recent episode of “Actors on Actors” at Variety Studio, the Oscar winning actor said: “Once I enter a public place I become incredibly rude,” when speaking of fan encounters with the comedian. “That’s kind of like my only way of defending myself,” she added. 27-year-old Lawrence also demonstrated the icy glare and finger wag she gives people when she sees someone approach her table at a restaurant. She also added that when people request selfies, she is quick to shoot them down with a forceful “No!” Sandler conceded that fans usually “pull up a chair” when he is at a restaurant and that they also usually asks for photos. Like every other star, Lawrence also hates reviews. She revealed in the chat that reviews for her film “mother!” had a hand in ending her relationship with the film’s director, Darren Aronofsky. “Normally, I promote a movie, you put the work into promoting it, ask people to go see it, and then it’s just kind of out of your hands. I normally just kind of let it go,” she told Sandler. “Dating the director is different.” She explained how her ex always kept talking about the movie and she understood and tried to be supportive as much as possible. Things got out of hand when Darren started to read reviews of “mother!” to her, which felt unhealthy to Lawrence. Whenever her boyfriend read out a negative review she used to get defensive as she does while around her fans.
