Popular hybrid rock band Arbovirus had released their third album “Bishesh Droshtobbo” on January 13 this year. After its release, ‘School’ and ‘Venge Felo,’ two songs of the album and their music videos, had garnered much appraisal, while other tracks, including ‘Mukhosh,’ ‘Nilam’ and ‘Shurjo,’ also won the hearts of fans around the country.
Now, in a bid to continue their winning streak, one of the leading rock troupes in the local music industry, Arbovirus has released an acoustic live audio-video version of the album.To spice up the launching, the band earlier also announced three concerts at different venues in Dhaka and Chittagong.
Alongside the concerts, Arbovirus will release music videos of seven tracks on their Youtube channel throughout this week, confirmed the band’s frontman Sufi.
Arbovirus unveiled the acoustic venture of “Bishesh Droshtobbo” on Sunday at Dhaka University’s TSC at a launching ceremony organised by Dhaka University Band Society.
The official music video of their song “Tomar Gaan” from the album was also released during the first concert there.
The second concert was scheduled to take place at the Drift Wood restaurant in Uttara on Monday and the last one is slated to be held at Chittagong city on November 11.
Formed in 2002, Arbovirus released their debut album “64 Minutes 53 Seconds” in 2006 and the second “Montobbo Nishproyojon” in 2013.
The band's current line-up consists of lead vocal Sufi, lead guitarists Suharto, Fasih and Ranjan, drummer Nafeez and bassist Adnan.
