Aynabaji director Amitabh Reza Chowdhury is renowned for his film making and creative endeavours, while his younger sister Mahjabin Reza Mou works for his production house, Half Stop Down, as the executive producer. The sibling duo have always been busy with their hectic filming schedules.
Now for the first time, they will be seen cooking together on TV during the upcoming Eid. A special culinary TV show is in the making based on the theme of “celebrities vs homemakers.”
Amitabh Reza Chowdhury and Mahjabin Reza have participated as celebrity guests for the show, titled Aarong Dairy Ranna Khetro.
In a quick chat, Mahjabin told Showtime, “We prepared sweet and sour eggs on the show. And please don’t think that I cooked it, it was my brother who made all the preparations.”
Mahjabin also added that she does not have enough time to spend in the kitchen and that, it was a precious opportunity for her to spend some quality time with her brother while helping him cook.
Aarong Dairy Ranna Khetro will be aired on GTV in seven episodes during Eid. Nawsheen Nahreen Mou is hosting the show while Alpana Habib and Nahid Osman are the judges. With different celebrity guests for each episode, the culinary show will also feature stars like Zakia Bari Momo, Schumann Patwary, Shafin Ahmed, Nabila, Mithila and Iresh Zaker.
