It was in 2013, when she got noticed for her debut performance in Shuddh Desi Romance, but it took Vaani Kapoor nearly three years to bag another Hindi film, something which did not bother her much. Post her debut with the Yash Raj-backed romantic-comedy, Vaani featured in the Telugu remake of Band Baaja Baarat, titled Aaha Kalyanam in 2014.
Now with just few days to go for her film’s release, the actress broke her silence and finally addressed the rumours. The actress laughed off the rumours about her getting a lip and chin surgery by saying that she isn't rich enough to afford a surgery as such. "I just can't go through such tiring process and the pain,” said Vaani in an interview. Vaani also said that her weight-loss changed her body structure, as it is supposed to. “I lose weight so obviously my jaw and face looks different now. My frame looks different and I am sure audiences will be able to reason the change," Vaani added.
