A moderate tremor rocked the Myanmar-India border at 8:11 am on Saturday, according to a report from BSS.
The earthquake was located on the Monipur border region between Myanmar and India, with the epicentre 434 km north-east of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) seismic centre in Agargaon, Dhaka, said a Met Office press release.
The magnitude of the tremor was 5.1 on the Richter scale, the release added.
