A high-level meeting of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (CoP24) on global warming will be held in Poland on Monday.
Participants are expected to emphasize urgent action by developed countries to keep global warming below 1.5 degree Celsius to avoid the most adverse impact of climate change, reports UNB.
The Bangladeshi delegation is being led by Abdullah Al Mohsin Chowdhury, secretary to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
