The recent rise in Dengue cases and death poses a serious threat for Dhaka dwellers.
Amid growing concern, Bangladesh on Saturday recorded four deaths from dengue, the highest toll in a single day this year. Currently, some 1,138 patients, including 911 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across Bangladesh.
Health experts have also warned that the country may witness even a worse outbreak of Aedes mosquito-borne dengue this year as the presence of this virus carrying insects has increased in the early days of summer.
As dengue infection is increasing day by day and is taking a terrible form, patients of all ages, children, old, young, are being admitted to the hospital.
