In pictures: Protesters demand justice for elephant killed by train

People from different walks of life came together on Thursday to demand justice for an elephant struck and killed by a train in Uttara, Dhaka, the day before. They also demanded to know what steps the Forest Department had taken for the monitoring and safety of elephants in the country, calling on authorities to put an end to the use of these large mammals for extortion.
