In pictures: Farmers cultivate strawberries in Chapainawabganj

Strawberry cultivation gained popularity amongst Bangladeshi farmers and consumers. Being able to sell the fruits at Tk300 per kg, strawberry cultivation has become a profitable venture for the farmers. However, strawberry production faces myriad challenges with limited land resources and budding local demand. While the export market for strawberries is vast and highly profitable, there is a long way to go before exports become feasible.
