Fans of Argentina football team in Bangladesh lit up the night sky with fireworks to celebrate the South American nation's triumph over France in the World Cup final Sunday.

Hundreds of Bangladeshis defied chilly temperatures and poured into the streets in the middle of the night chanting "Messi, Messi".

Many supporters were donning the iconic light blue and white of La Albiceleste while carrying huge flags while holding a victory procession in different cities of Bangladesh.

Argentina supporters in Rajshahi shedded tears of joy in the streets after their favorite team won the much awaited World Cup final on Sunday.
