With Bangladesh grappling with the Covid-19 pandemic, dengue poses a great threat to the country’s children. At present, severe dengue affects most Asian countries and has become a leading cause of hospitalizations and deaths among children as well as adults in these regions, according to WHO. The photos were taken at the children’s ward of Holy Family Hospital and Suhrawardy Udyan, both in Dhaka, on Thursday.
