In Pictures: Artistes demand photojournalist Kajol’s release

Artistes from different arenas gather in front of the Central Shaheed Minar on the Dhaka University campus and form a human chain on Sunday, August 23, 2020, demanding immediate release of photojournalist Shafiqul Islam Kajol, who is currently in Dhaka Central Jail due to several cases against him, some of which have been filed under the Digital Security Act (DSA). Kajol’s son Monorom Polok was present at the human chain as well.
