In pictures: Mora forces Patenga beachfront stores to evacuate

Cyclone Mora, estimated to be one of the biggest cyclones in recent years, is bearing down towards the coast of Bangladesh. Forecasts show the cyclone will make landfall on Tuesday morning. As the cyclone approaches the coast, district administrations have taken all necessary precautions to mitigate impact and save lives.

Mora was centred at around 385km south of Chittagong port and 305km south of Coxu2019s Bazar port around 7pm on Monday, according to a report published on the website of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
