Four people were killed in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a truck in Naogaon on Sunday.
The incident was reported on the local highway to Joypurhat at Dhamoirhat upazila around 9pm, said police.
The deceased were identified as Abu Sufian, 18, Minhaj Islam, 20, Shajal Hossain 22 and Abdus Salam, 30.
Quoting witnesses, Dhamoirhat police OC KM Rakibul Huda said two of the victims died on the spot.
The other two victims were rushed to the state-run hospital at Dhamoirhat town with severe injuries.
As their condition deteriorated, they were transferred to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital at 11pm the same day. They succumbed to their injuries in the early hours of Monday.
"The victims were all vegetable traders. They were returning to their homes on the same motorbike,” OC Huda said.
