Dhaka Tribune Art Director Syed Latif Hossain has won the first place under “Editorial: Political Professional” category in International Photography Award.
The information was disclosed in the website on Wednesday.
According to the website, the picture titled “Spirit of Revolution” won the first place followed by two other pictures which won the second and third places in the same category.
The picture is about the protesters at Shahbagh Movement, demanding execution of the war criminals of the 1971 Liberation War.
The picture was taken on February 11, 2013, in Dhaka.
The International Photography Awards conducts an annual competition for professional, non-professional, and student photographers on a global scale.
