A solo classical piano concert by Professor Justus Zeyen will be held today at the Berlin Hall, Goethe-Institut in Dhanmondi at 7pm.
Professor Justus Zeyen is a celebrated pianist who has performed at various prestigious venues in Europe, US and Asia, as a soloist as well as a pianist for chamber music. He has also been playing at various important
festivals around the world. For his work with physically challenged world-class bass-baritone Thomas Quasthoff, he was rewarded with several awards and Grammy nominations.
Moreover, Zeyen teaches at the University for Music, Theatre and Media in Hannover, Germany.
In today’s event, Zeyen will perform pieces of the famous German composers Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Schumann and other world-famous classical artists from Europe.
An entry fee of Tk200 will be charged and tickets can be purchased at the Goethe-Institut’s reception as well as the German Embassy’s main gates. The entire revenues from the show will be given to the Bangladeshi-German NGO German Doctors.
