Single episode drama “Jol Torongo” depicts a romantic story and will air on Boishakhi TV tonight at 11pm. Written by Sayed Ziauddin and directed by Lutfunahar Moushumi, the star-cast of the play features Shahed Sharif Khan, Ahana and many more.
Newly married couple Shahed and Ahana goes to Cox’s Bazaar on their honeymoon. Being a happy go girl of a rich father, she married Shahed, who is only a fashion designer and her father was less than pleased with her decision.
To create unrest among the couple, Ahana’s father hires another married couple and sends them to Cox’s Bazaar. The hired couple rents a room next to Ahana and Shahed’s and the guy makes his move on Ahana by trying to impress her with his guitar playing. Meanwhile, his wife approaches Ahana with the sob story of their unhappy marriage, she informs Ahana that her husband thinks that someone else is his soul mate. Ahana believes in the soul mate theory as well and writes about it often in her journal. After a while, she starts to have a weird kind of attraction towards the guitar’s music.
