“Poribesh Bandhob Shobuj Banking” and “71er Prottokkhodorshi Muktijoddhader Jibonjuddho” - two books written by Harun-ur-Rashid, were launched earlier this year.
Rashid had been involved with writing for the last three decades. He received the Nawab Abdul Latif Award in 2014 for his contribution in research in Sociology.
He is the founding chairman of WALL (Water, Air, Light and Land) Foundation for Safe Living. With a master's degree in Accounting, Harun has worked in a multinational pharmaceutical company for 25 years.
