Draped in a cloak of lights, balloons and décor, the 10th birthday of Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden was a gala affair which commenced from February 11-18. Guests paid tribute to the milestone by flocking at the hotel throughout the week and taking part in the celebrations while enjoying a galore of offers and waivers.
The first step into the lobby serenaded guests with a tide of warmth and finery leading them to the atrium which was resplendently decorated with balloons all the way from the ceiling. A gargantuan ice carving illuminated in blue charmed spectators and added to the already translucent blue ambience, symbolic to the Radisson Blu brand, bathing the lobby in an ethereal glow. Outside guests were received with welcome drinks and flower badges while in-house guests were treated with various complimentary gifts. The aura of celebration proved to be contagious, as guests were seen in increasing numbers flooding the five outlets of the hotel.
Coincidentally, the new honourable managing director, Brigadier General Sohail Saifdin Sabir, psc (Retd), general manager, Christoph Voegeli, and hotel staff also bid farewell to the former managing director, Brigadier General Jahangir Alam, psc (Retd) who completed an impressive tenure of six years. Memories were recollected and shared in images with guests on a large projector, narrating the prolific and flourishing journey of Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden.
