Dr Golam Arshad Charitable Foundation was established three years ago by the founder chairman Dr Golam Arshad of the Peninsula Chittagong. On the occasion of the 11th year celebration of the Peninsula Chittagong, general manager of the Hotel, Mushtak Luhar handed over a one-year full scholarship to Shirin, a ninth grader at Nurul Islam Municipal Girls High School. The scholarship was given at the hotel's Monthly Staff Meeting along with school headmistress, Farida Begum.
