Sultana Kamal Khuki is the name of a martyr of August 15, 1975. Sultana Kamal Khuki was the best female athlete of Bangladesh. Forty eight years after the death of Sultana Kamal Khuki, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's eldest daughter-in-law, the book "Durdamya (Unconquerable) Sultana Kamal Khuki" written by Arabi Binte Shafique (Shifa), a seventh grade student writer and programmer, has been published.
The book is the first book written about Sultana Kamal Khuki. Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun MP unveiled the cover of the book "Durdmya Sultana Kamal Khuki" at Bangla Academy on Tuesday (August 29).
Bangladesh Awami League Advisory Council member Aroma Dutta MP inaugurated the program, while Bangla Academy president and eminent fiction writer Selina Hossain presided over the event.
Bangla Academy Director General and poet Muhammad Nurul Huda was present as a speaker.
Arabi Binte Shafique (Shifa) started writing the book "Durdamya Sultana Kamal Khuki" when she was in the sixth grade. After nearly a year of research, collecting interviews from Sultana Kamal Khuki's family and acquaintances, the book "Durdamya Sultana Kamal Khuki" was published.
This talented student created "Ek Palake Sheikh Hasina" app while studying in third grade. Then Arabi Binte Shafique (Shifa)'s first book "Ek Palake Sheikh Hasina - Sheikh Hasina at a glance" was published while studying in the fifth grade. Bangladesh's first app on Sheikh Russel -- "Adamya Sheikh Russel", created on the instructions of State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak, is available on Google Play Store on the account of ICT Division. "Adamya Sheikh Russel" book was published in light of the Adamya Sheikh Russel app. In future, Arabi binte Shafique (Shifa) wants to write a book about climate change.
