TeenX is a movement dedicated to preventing teenage rape and combating child trafficking across the world.
Founded in 2021, the initiative has been working to create safer environments for teenagers through awareness, advocacy, support services, and technology-driven solutions.
As part of its next major step, the TeenX App and Hotline Number are scheduled to officially launch on January 21, 2027, at Sheraton Dhaka.
TeenX is a youth-focused initiative dedicated to supporting and protecting teenagers through technology, awareness, guidance, and emergency support services.
The platform aims to provide teenagers with access to information, assistance, and referral services related to safety, mental well-being, legal guidance, education, and other adolescent concerns.
According to the organizers, the launch event will bring together youth advocates, development professionals, educators, community leaders, and supporters who have contributed to the journey of TeenX.
The initiative has been developed with the vision of creating a safer and more supportive environment for teenagers across Bangladesh and beyond.
The TeenX App is expected to offer accessible support services and resources for young people, while the hotline service will serve as an additional channel through which teenagers can seek assistance, guidance, and information when needed.
Speaking about the upcoming launch, TeenX vice president and co-founder Zahra Zareen Binte Benazir said: “Since 2021, we have dreamed of finding effective ways to ensure the safety and well-being of teenagers in Bangladesh. In particular, TeenX president Shahi Al Sadat has worked tirelessly and shown extraordinary dedication, which has helped us reach this stage today. We do not work only for ourselves; we work for everyone. Our mission has always been to create meaningful support systems for teenagers and to stand beside them whenever they need help.”
TeenX officials expressed their gratitude to all partners, volunteers, supporters, and well-wishers whose contributions have helped turn the vision into reality.
They stated that the January 2027 launch represents not only the beginning of a new platform but also a long-term commitment to empowering and protecting young people throughout Bangladesh.
Further details regarding the launch event, app features, hotline services, and future activities will be announced in the coming months.
