Platforms, the groundbreaking platform dedicated to celebrating and promoting the vibrant art scene of Bangladesh, is thrilled to introduce its Canvas Conversations series.
It showcases eminent artists including Ekushey Padak winning Eminent artist Rofiqun Nobi, Prof Nisar Hossain, dean of Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka; Prof Syed Azizul Haque, chairman, Department of Bangla, University of Dhaka and Artist and former editor at Depart Magazine Mustafa Zaman as speakers.
The whole session was moderated by Rayana Hossain, founder of Isho and Platforms.
In part 1 of the Canvas Conversations, Platforms spotlights the struggles of the first generation of Bangladeshi artists, exploring the unique development of their art language and identifying pivotal artworks that defined early Bengali Art.
