Update : 08 Sep 2024, 04:45 PM

Dhaka Flow, a pioneer in community wellness initiatives, announced the launch of its new Health and Healing Studio in Banani, Road 1, Dhaka.

This therapeutic space is dedicated to offering holistic healing experiences that cater to the diverse needs of the city's residents. With a range of classes and therapies including yoga, dance, art therapy, and sound healing, the studio is poised to become a haven for those seeking physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.

In the fast-paced and often stressful environment of Dhaka, urban life can take a significant toll on individuals' mental and physical health.

Recognizing the need for accessible and comprehensive healing services, Dhaka Flow's new studio aims to provide a refuge where people can reconnect with themselves and find balance amid the chaos of city life.

Ancient practices such as yoga and Ayurveda healing are rooted in centuries-old wisdom and offer personalized treatments that address the unique needs of individuals.

Ayurveda healing focuses on restoring balance to the body's energies through natural remedies and lifestyle adjustments, while yoga healing employs the combined practice of physical asanas, breathwork, and meditation to promote overall health and vitality.

The studio itself has been thoughtfully designed to create a serene and welcoming green environment. Located in the heart of Banani, the space is a blend of modern aesthetics and natural elements, providing an oasis of calm in the bustling city.

Soft lighting, soothing colours, and natural materials have been used throughout the interior to enhance the healing atmosphere, while private treatment rooms ensure a personalized and intimate experience for every visitor.

“With a lot of heightened social and political awareness, there’s a rise in anxiety and guilt amidst the hope and purpose, and sometimes the negative feelings are overriding the positive. Balancing our emotions and prioritising mental and physical health is crucial for all of us, and spaces that are safe and community-based,” said Armeen Musa, singer and wellbeing advocate.

“Relief and respite from the voices and noises around us and are extremely necessary for us to lead healthy lives.”

Dhaka Flow’s Health and Healing Studio is more than just a place to attend classes; it is a community hub where individuals can come together to support one another on their wellness journeys.

The studio also plans to host workshops, guest lectures, and special events, fostering a sense of connection and shared learning among its members.

"We believe that true healing encompasses the mind, body, and spirit, and our new studio is a reflection of that philosophy," said yogini Shazia Omar, founder of Dhaka Flow.

"In a city as vibrant and dynamic as Dhaka, it is essential to have spaces where people can retreat, rejuvenate, and rediscover their inner peace. We are excited to welcome everyone to our new studio and to be a part of their healing journey.
