Update : 08 Jul 2025, 11:06 PM

Waffle Up, a Bangladeshi start-up specializing in waffles is now going global, opening branches in Singapore, Thailand, Dubai and Indonesia.

The brand, whose popularity skyrocketed in 2022, has since opened branches in major locations across Bangladesh, from Dhaka to Sylhet, Chittagong, and Cox’s Bazar.

The new branch in Singapore will be located in Clark Quay, a historical riverside quay, popular with locals and tourists alike.

The Singapore branch is to open in August 2025. They also have plans to reach other countries as well, including Indonesia, Dubai, and Thailand, according to information obtained from their website.

However, official inauguration dates have not been announced yet.

What makes Waffle Up so unique is their waffles being on stick, an easy treat to have in hand.

As the first ones to serve waffles on a stick in Bangladesh, their consistency in delivering a flavourful range of waffles is taking them to Singapore, ready to set a trend there as well.

From a Bangladesh startup to a global brand, Waffle Up pioneered a taste unique to Bangladesh.

Their branding and consistent quality can give the international market a glimpse of exactly what Bangladeshi start-ups have to offer.

The global market is saturated with name brands, rarely do we hear of Bangladeshi startups paving their way and matching their high-quality benchmarks. Waffle Up going global is setting new heights for Bangladeshi brands.
