“I would do a longer masterclass next time. I feel like it helped me look back at my own journey in the process of teaching and how far I have come from when I started,” she stated.
The second day of AFW, themed "Modern Contemporary," captivated fashion enthusiasts with a dynamic lineup of masterclasses, electrifying runway shows, and a spectacular concert.

- Indigo Tie-Dye & Shibori Masterclass by Living Blue (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM): Participants explored traditional dyeing techniques, mastering the art of creating intricate patterns using indigo.
- Build a Fashion Brand Masterclass by Mehruz Munir (3:00 PM – 5:00 PM): Attendees received expert guidance on establishing and growing a successful fashion brand in today's competitive market.
- Crocheting Masterclass by Flappy Clouds (3:00 PM – 7:00 PM): This hands-on session taught participants various crocheting techniques to create unique fashion pieces.
- Clay Jewellery Masterclass by Ankon (3:00 PM – 7:00 PM): Attendees learned the craft of designing and creating bespoke clay jewelry, blending traditional methods with contemporary designs.
- The Art of DJ-ing Masterclass by Arsi (3:00 PM – 7:00 PM): Aspiring DJs gained insights into mixing techniques, music selection, and the fundamentals of creating an engaging set.
- Graffiti Art Masterclass by Aakabaaka (3:00 PM – 7:00 PM): Participants explored the world of street art, learning graffiti techniques and the cultural significance behind the art form.

Mehruz Munir shared his passion for mentoring emerging designers, stating: "Arka has become my family... Arka is an amazing platform for upcoming designers. As a designer myself, I see myself in a lot of the designers at Arka going through the same things that I did. It's a very exciting phase in their lives... Me having the experience that I have, I wanted to be able to share that with them. My knowledge, my experience, my technical skills, everything so that they can have that guidance and support that has been here a little bit longer."
