Kishwar Chowdhury, grand finalist of Masterchef Australia 2021 has been able to put our favourite food on the world stage. Some of the dishes that she was able to put are not very uncommon but never was able to make headlines until it graced the tables at Masterchef.
Experienced food enthusiast Kaniska Chakraborty joined from Kolkata and shared a lot on how the cuisine could be branded. Zeenat Chowdhury and Ashfaq Rahman Asif also provided excellent insights as well as directions for the future. Anita Amreen who is an active member and leading the upcoming Food Talk Bangkok group was also able to share her story about Matt Preston and kachki mach.

There was great participation from all the moderators either in the planning or in the event itself. We are thankful to Subhi for curating the event, Ifreet Taheea, Raisa Chowdhury, Tahnia Ahmed Rahman as well as Kashtan Habib and Mishael Aziz Ahmad who has always made themselves available as a sounding board.

Taking Bangladeshi food to the world stage cannot be done by anyone alone but needs to be done with all in more of a collective way.
