An eminent dental surgeon of the country, Dr Sharif Ahmed has died on Friday at a Dhaka hospital.
The 66-year-old breathed his last early on Friday at the capital’s Square Hospital, where he was being treated after suffering from Covid-19.
He was laid to rest at the Banani Graveyard after the namaj-e-janaza at Banani DOHS Mosque following the Jumma prayers.
Dr Sharif left behind his wife Parvin Sharif, a son and a daughter and a host of relations and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was one of the best dental surgeons this country probably ever produced, a soft-spoken, kind-hearted person.
