When did you start your company?
Motomate Bangladesh started its journey back in January 2019. The tagline of Motomate Bangladesh is "Enhance your riding experience"- which implies that we suggest the best products to our customers and encourage them to invest in good products. We also ensure that customers can find those products easily available in our store.
What motivated you to get into the motorcycle accessory industry?
One of the major reasons behind opening Motomate is that-as a biker, when I started riding bikes, we didn't have people to guide us or suggest products that will be a good purchase within the budget range. For example, buying the right sized helmet. We decided to open up a company which will be totally dedicated towards the bike riders like us (which is almost everyone). It is our goal as a biker to help other bikers with gears and accessories.
What kind of products do you sell?
Motomate Bangladesh emphasizes more on safe riding gear which include helmets, gloves, riding jackets and riding boots. All of our products are European standard ECE certified and for helmets, most of them are American standard DOT standard helmets. We are working with brands such as Caberg, Nexx, Sol, V Helmet, Airoh, Daddy, Origine, Yohe, NHK, Venom and Macna and Motogp enlisted brand ‘Forma’ riding boots.

When did you start your company?
We are the first helmet light modification company in Bangladesh. We (3 Colleagues) modified our first helmet as a trial in 5th January 2017 for fun. But soon it went viral on the street and people started to talk about our helmets. Afterwards, we decided to start our company “Ignite” on 20th June, 2017 in a basement situated in Dhanmondi 8a. After that we shifted our shop to the 2nd floor from the basement on 1st Nov 2019. Later on, we opened our 2nd outlet in Khilgaon, Malibag, on 15th January 2021.
What motivated you to get into the motorcycle accessory industry?
We always thought of rider’s safety. Full face certified helmet was, is and always will be our priority to serve with. We don’t sell any half face helmets in our shop as our motto is “be safe, be seen, be smart”.
What kind of products do you sell?

When did you start your company?
2015, October
What motivated you to get into the motorcycle accessory industry?
It was my passion to ride motorcycles. I loved to travel and the habit turned into a frequent hobby. Most of the time we arranged trips in groups. For any kind of motorcycle tour, everyone, as well as city riders, need some mandatory accessories. When we used to arrange bike tours, maximum riders wouldn’t bring safety items due to scarcity of qualified accessories. We searched at global markets for these items.
What kind of products do you sell?
We sell almost all kinds of accessories. Our main products are Certified Helmets (MT, YOHE, AXOR, BILMOLA, KYT), Riding Jackets, All after-market accessories, Engine Oil, Premium Gloves.

In conversation with the owner, Mohammed Fahim Bin Solaiman:
When did you start the company?
I started the startup - VT Motorsport, just immediately after completing my graduation, 2017. I started my company on May 16 of that year.
What was your motivation behind it?
I found out, trading with low quality product with high price tag, not maintaining enough transparency with consumers etc. were key factors that pushed us to thrive for the best. It motivated me to get into the industry.
What are the products you sell?
VT Motorsport imports and distributes Motorcycle Maintenance Parts from North America and Asia. We are looking forward to expand our business in the current and upcoming years.

When did you start your company?
I started Drag back in 2015, September.
What motivated you to open the shop?
Since we can’t get higher powered bikes, I wanted to bring parts that would boost performance. I started riding bikes back in 2010, and I realized that the industry lacked performance enhancements parts. Later on, I decided to explore the Indian market for these parts, which I released, lacked proper parts I wanted. And then I looked towards Indonesia because Indonesia had it all. They had more performance-based parts and had more to offer.
What kind of products do you sell?
I usually sell exhausts and all performance-oriented parts. I always brought (and still do) unique accessories that other people didn’t sell back then.
