National award winning actor Toma Mirza will return to the big screen with a feature length musical film titled "Gohiner Gaan."
Toma and Amaan Reza are paired against each other in the film produced by Bangla Dhol Limited.
Toma recently said in a press statement that she was “looking for a role that would suit her vision and ‘Gohiner Gaan’ is that film.”
"This musical film will mark my first attempt to this genre. I really believe that I will be able to present myself in a different way through this performance. I am happy to be a part of this musical," she added.
Actor Amaan said: "I am simultaneously working in both parts of Bengal. Therefore, I think this musical rendition will add an extra dimension to my career."
A few days back, popular faces of small screen actor Tanzika Amin and popular Bangladeshi singer Asif started shooting for "Gohiner Gaan." Director Sadat Hossain then confirmed that other important characters soon would be a part of this musical film.
Toma and Amaan will be seen playing two important characters in this musical film. "Gohiner Gaan" will contain nine new songs by Asif and an original and aesthetic storyline confirmed a press release sent by the production company.
One of the senior officials of Bangla Dhol Limited said that till now they had only done audio productions but now they have also completed their registration as a film production company and "Gohiner Gaan" will be their first production for the Dhallywood silver screen.
